Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification, Age limit, Relaxation in Upper Age limit, Experience)


Educational Qualification for ALP (Asstt. Loco Pilot) Posts:-

 Matriculation passes plus (a) ITI in specified trades/Act Apprenticeship, OR (b) Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI. Note: Specified trades for the purpose of(a) above are as follows:-A) Fitter B) Electrician C) Instrument Mechanic D)Mill Wright/Maintenance Mechanic E) Mechanic(Radio and TV F) Electronics Mechanic G)Mechanic(Motor vehicle) H) Wireman I) Tractor Mechanic J) Armature and Coil winder K) Mechanic(Diesel) L) Heat Engine


Educational Qualification for Technician-III Various Trade Posts:-

Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the relevent trades.


Educational Qualification for JE (Junior Engineer) Posts:- 

Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering OR in Any relevant field OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering or any given field from a recognized University/ Institute.


Educational Qualification for Train Manager/Goods Guard Posts:- 

Graduation Degree from Recognized university or its equivalent recognized by Govt. Of India.

Age limit: The upper age limit will be 42 years for UR candidates, 45 years for OBC candidates and47 years for SC/ST candidates.. The age will be reckoned as on 01.01.2024


Selection Process: 

The recruitment process shall comprise of a Computer Based Test (CBT)/written examination followed by aptitude test/ Document Verification and Medical Examination.
